Photography tends to revolve around the really big moments; senior portraits, engagement photos, wedding portraits, maternity photos, the list goes on. It is a great responsibility and a true blessing to be able to experience life changing moments with the most wonderful people, especially when those moments are a secret. As a photographer, you not only need to be able to work a camera, you also have to learn to be a top notch secret keeper. Like vault baby, locked down!
Anna reached out a few months back with a big secret, that she was thrilled to share with me. Well really it was more like two secrets, Anna and Clint are expecting.. TWINS! I don’t know if there are words to express what an honor it is to peer into a moment like this one and it couldn’t have been with a sweeter couple, I’m convinced one does not exist.
Anna didn’t even flinch when I recommended sunrise for their session, Clint maybe did. They came completely loaded and prepared with all of the Alaska portrait session essentials; walking shoes, and cute shoes to change into, layers that can be easily taken on and off, bags, signs, banners, onesies, sonograms, you name it – Anna brought it. If you’re not a photographer you may not understand, but I know all my fellow photogs out there are singing her praises, just like I was! Every time Anna said “I’m so glad we chose sunrise” I would respond “You have no idea!”
Anna and Clint, thank you so much for allowing me a glimpse into your beautiful life together. It is so obvious how loved these little babies are going to be. I know your home will be absolutely bursting with love and happiness because I can see it in your marriage already. It’s undeniable. You keep loving each other the way you do now, and you are going to be just the best parents! I am so thrilled to have gotten a chance to serve people like you and help you commemorate these final days as a family of two.
