Their story began at an Air Force in-processing meeting—Tina’s fun fact was her love for mountain biking, and Maxx’s? He once drank a gallon of melted ice cream out of a rain gutter (yes, really). That quirky start led to hours of conversation on a long bike ride around Eklutna Lake, their “unofficial first date.” So, it only made sense that they would return to this same spot to say I do.

When Maxx proposed here during a snowy March site visit, Tina had no idea it was coming. He set up his camera to “take a picture”—and then hit record instead, capturing the moment he dropped to one knee. She said yes, of course.
