Stunning Mat-Su Resort Spring Wedding

“Oh, they say when you’re married in June, you’re a bride all your life”. I have been so excited for Katrina and Josh’s wedding for about 9 months now since our business relationship began, and really even longer because Katrina planned a wedding I didn’t even know I needed to shoot! Elegant, timeless, and beautifully intentional down to the very last detail; that includes Katrina’s amazing monogramed jean jacket and jumpsuit she wore to ride off into the sunset as husband and wife!

Katrina and Josh started their story when they met while they were stationed in DC. I believe Josh’s best man, Carlos, said it best as he gave his toast he recounted “I knew that something different when Josh called and told me he wouldn’t be reenlisting as marine. I was shook, but something else better had come along, that and his bad knees.” The room erupted in laughter and Josh rolled his eyes. Many more beautiful words were spoken by family and friends as Josh and Katrina closed chapter 10 of their relationship and started a new chapter as a married couple.

Katrina and Josh, thank you so much for giving me a glimpse into your love story. It never ceases to humble me when amazing people like yourselves trust me with such important memories. I never know how to truly express my gratitude, but I sure try. Thank you for kindness and your generosity. I can’t wait to see what’s next for the two of you and your beautiful family.
