Big Lake, Alaska holds a very special place in my heart. Growing up we spent many summer days at my grandpas cabin, swimming, painting piggie banks, and roasting marshmallows. As you’d imagine I was thrilled to hear that Raeanna and Jordan had chosen the beautiful sunset view resort in Big Lake for their wedding. They chose to have an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family surrounded by some of the best views Alaska has to offer.
Surrounded by the lush greens of summer and sprinkled with bits of lavender, wildflower bouquets, and the last blooms of fireweed. Raeanna and Jordan’s Wedding was a midsummer dream out at the Sunset View Resort. Their wedding was filled with beautiful little moments from Raeanna’s mom putting on her veil, Jordan’s gasp seeing his bride for the very first time, to all the tearful hugs and congratulations after the ceremony. They had an intimate ceremony by the water on a sunny Monday afternoon and it was an absolutely perfect way to wrap up summer.
Raeanna and Jordan, I am so happy for you!! Your wedding was beautiful and I am so thrilled to have been a small part of it! The love and happiness surrounding you at your wedding was so intense it seemed to fill the air we were breathing. Marriage is filled with amazing moments and a few challenges along the way but with a support system likes yours, you’ll successfully face those challenges hand in hand knowing you have the love of each other and the love of your families to back you up. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!!
