What makes a book a great book? I think most of us would agree it has to do with the element of surprise. All these compelling little moments that lead up to a big reveal. Love stories are “written” in a similar way.

Sometimes it amazes me how large and how small our world can be and I don’t think I’m alone. That’s why shows like “This is us” are so popular. The way our lives crisscross, intersect, and part is fascinating.

There are so many different ways to plan a wedding. Throughout the pandemic I’ve seen it all. From the micro-wedding to the large and in charge. What never ceases to amaze me is, regardless of how the event actually takes places, my couples absolutely beam on the day of their weddings.

One of the greatest honors in being a photographer is getting to photograph loved ones. The “Petes” and the “Barts” have had more card parties, camping trips, barbecues, and vacations than a person can keep count of. It’s the kind of friendship where invitations aren’t needed, they’re implicit.
